CBIE provides simultaneous interpretation at its conference to reflect Canada’s bilingual identity and ensure participants can engage in the official language of their choice. Interpretation also plays an important role in supporting the participation of our international partners, making it easier to exchange ideas, build relationships, and engage in meaningful dialogue across cultures and languages.
At CBIE2026, select sessions, including our keynote presentations, will have simultaneous interpretation (S.I.) available through Wordly. This AI-based service provides real-time translation into French, English, and over 60 other global languages. Wordly can be accessed via mobile phone, tablet, or laptop, through your internet browser, without needing to download any apps.
Wordly offers live translated captions directly on your device’s screen. Participants may also bring their own headphones or earbuds to listen to spoken translations in their preferred language. We encourage attendees to familiarize themselves with the platform in advance by watching this short demonstration video.
